As designers and specialist manufacturers of body protection in sportswear since 1983, Airowear has been successfully supplying the equestrian market worldwide and is now the market leader in equestrian body protection. In all these years, Airowear’s philosophy has never changed ‘Total commitment to rider safety’.

Airowear are widely recognised for their expertise and experience in the sports protection field, with protection, freedom of movement, comfort and appearance always at the forefront of our designs.  Extensive testing and feedback enable the company to develop and create ever-improving garments which are often used as the benchmark for competitors.

Why Rugby ?

Airowear are an ever-expanding company and diversified into other sport’s markets where they could use their expert design knowledge in another niche market. Rugby was identified as a relatively similar market that would fit well with the equestrian side of the business. After 2 years in design, development and testing, the Airowear Airodynamix range of protection was made available.

All of the Airowear rugby range of protection has been developed in-house and is currently all manufactured at our factory in Corbridge, Northumberland.
